I needed to phone Vodacom Customer Care (111) to change my email addy on my profile. Janine answered the phone and told me she’d sort me out. I gave her my details and new address (my donpackett.com addy) and she asked what I do for a living, seeing as I have my own site.
I told her I use it for a comedy / MC platform. She explained that the system was slow today, and, instead of putting me on hold forcing me to listen to that godawful hold music, proceeded to ask me about my favourite comedians, and telling me about hers (Chris Rock being the top dog). We chatted for about 5 minutes, 5 minutes much better spent conversing with an individual rather than getting frustrated while waiting.
Probably the only experience with Vodacom Customer Care that I’ve enjoyed. Thanks Janine.
